Tooth extractions, therapeutic surgery, or dental implants.
Sometimes necessary when an oral health problem is detected.

Dental Implants
Dental implants are replacements for one or more missing teeth. Dental implant are titanium posts capped with dental crowns that look, feel and act just like natural teeth do. Dental implants can also be placed to anchor a denture and ensure that it doesn’t move and/or cause discomfort. While a bridge may have to be replaced 2-3 times in one’s lifetime, with good care dental implants typically last for life, thus saving you money in the long run.

A dental implant has two parts – a root made of bio compatible metal and a custom-made tooth crown, which is attached to it. Most implants are made of titanium, an inert metal proven effective at fusing with living bone. Implants are considered by many dentists to be more conservative than traditional bridges because there is no need to shape adjacent healthy teeth. We also use implants for full dentures and single missing teeth.

Extractions
Tooth extractions become necessary for a number of reasons. For instance, teeth that are extensively decayed or fractured teeth that do not allow for restoration may need to be extracted. We may also remove teeth to prevent crowding; a good example of this is the removal of wisdom teeth when there isn’t enough room in the jaw of them to grow in properly.

Gum Surgery
Gum surgery is required when a patient has advanced gum disease, when the gum tissue has over grown a tooth, or when a patient has a “gummy” smile. The procedure differs in each situation, but with the help of a dental laser, the procedure is relatively quick and quick and typically painless.
